Lt Gen (Dr) N B Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC served as Director General of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, Director General Information Systems and was a founding member of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Jabalpur. He specializes in armored fighting vehicles. A knowledge leader, he made significant contribution in the development of Takshak vehicle, Arjun ARRV and Dhanush. He was Miltary Attache Technical at Indian Embassy in Moscow. He writes on issues related to strategic readiness, Defence industrial base, self reliance and data analytics related to MRO
Lt Gen (Dr) Anil Kapoor, AVSM, VSM (Retd)
Lt Gen (Dr) Anil Kapoor, AVSM, VSM served as Director General Electronics and Mechanical Engineers and Director General Info Systems. A Chartered Engineer, he was awarded the Eminent Engineer Award 2020 by Institution of Engineers. He is a Professor of Practice at IIT Tirupati and also a board member in their Innovation Hub. He writes and speaks on emerging technologies like C7 ISR and AI in many publications and platforms.


Maj Gen (Dr) Ashok Kumar, VSM (Retd)
Maj Gen (Dr) Ashok Kumar, VSM (Retd) is a Kargil War veteran, has operational experience both on Pakistan as well as Chinese borders including LOC and LAC. He commanded a formation in the Arunachal Pradesh where 1962 war battles were fought as well as activated during 1987.
He is a defence and strategic analyst, Senior Fellow of CLAWS and author of two books- China Betrays Again and Indian Churnings on the Global Stage.
He is currently DG of CENJOWS.
Brig YVR Vijay (Retd)
Brig YVR Vijay served in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers where he was Chief Managing Director of an Army Base Workshop.After retirement from the Army he entered the Renewable Energy Sector where he was the COO of Enercon India Limited and subsequently the COO of Suzlon Global Services Limited.He is now a subject matter consultant on Renewable Energy to Boston Consultancy Group, McKinsey, GLG, Guidepoint, Alphasights and Third Bridge. He is running his own consultancy at StratMRO.com.


Maj Gen Amarjit Singh (Retd)
Maj Gen Amarjit Singh(Retd), a post graduate from IIT Roorkee served in the Corps of EME for more than 35 years. As Additional Director EME at IHQs of Army and Chief Instructor at EME School and Military College of EME, he contributed immensely towards restructuring of personnel training and administration. He is an Armoured Fighting Vehicles expert and had major contributions towards MBT Arjun ESPs as Chief Automotive Engineer at Headquarters Technical Group.
Maj Gen Rajiv Narayananm AVSM, VSM (Retd)
Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan (Retd) served over 37 years in the Armoured Corps, retiring on 29th Feb 2016 from the Directorate of Military Operations. He was India’s Defence Attaché in Tajikistan (2003–07) post-9/11 and has extensive experience along India’s Western and Northern borders. His expertise spans China, Indo-Pacific geopolitics, military strategy, and modernization. He has authored numerous articles, edited books, and frequently speaks at global forums. Currently, he is a Professor of Practice at IIT Madras, Visiting Fellow at CLAWS, and a member of C3S. He specializes in tank, ammunition, and MRO modernization in the Army.


Maj Gen Devendra Kapur, VSM (Retd)
Maj Gen Devendra Kapur (Retd) served 36 years in the Indian Army, excelling in HR, administration, training, and logistics. A Vishisht Seva Medal awardee, he played key roles in Operations Parakram and Vijay and commanded premier military institutions, including the Selection Centre, Allahabad. Post-retirement, he held leadership roles such as Director at BRBNMPL and VP-HR at Jaipuria Institute of Management. With multiple postgraduate degrees, he is a leadership, governance, and strategic planning consultant. An adventurer and marathoner, he continues to inspire as a motivational speaker, leveraging his expertise in talent selection and leadership excellence.
Air Vice Marshal Rajiv Gandotra, AVSM
Air Vice Marshal Rajiv Gandotra, AVSM, is a mechanical engineer from Thapar Engineering College, with postgraduate studies in Industrial Engineering (NITIE) and MPhil in National Defence and Strategic Studies. Over 36 years in the IAF, he managed MRO operations for aircraft, helicopters, and UAVs, contributing to indigenous combat aircraft development, systems integration, and certification. He held key roles, including AOC at CSDO, Principal Director (Systems) in the LCA project, and ACAS (Planning). As SMSO, Western Air Command, he enhanced operational readiness and indigenization. Honored with the AVSM and NITIE’s Distinguished Alumnus Award, he remains a defense technology expert.


Lt Gen K K Aggarwal, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd)
Lt Gen K K Aggarwal, AVSM, SM, VSM served as Director General of Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers. He was awarded the Eminent Engineer Award in 2018 by Institution of Engineers. Earlier he had been Technical Adviser to Govt of Mauritius. He writes and speaks on subjects of Emerging Technologies, Defence Industrial Base and Defence Finance, in addition to MRO.
Mr J. Narasimhan
Mr J. Narasimhan, an expert in quality management and inspection, has over four decades of experience in the defense sector and private industry. He served as DGM(QA) at 512 Army Base Workshop, Pune, overseeing material testing, inspections, and NABL system implementation. He also trained personnel at MCEME, Secunderabad. With multiple technical qualifications, including AMIE and certifications in QMS, TQM, and Lean Management, he has conducted extensive training in quality assurance. As a consultant, he has helped 20+ organizations implement ISO systems. His expertise spans quality control, laboratory management, and process optimization in manufacturing and defense maintenance.


Mr Arun Krishna
Mr Arun Krishna, former General Manager of the Avionics Division at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, is an expert in aircraft avionics manufacturing and MRO. With extensive experience in lean manufacturing, assembly, and testing in the aerospace sector, he is a strategic planner, systems thinker, and technology leader. He has managed large technology transfer projects and specializes in R&D, project management, and problem-solving. A member of industry-academic collaborations, he now works as a freelance consultant and subject matter expert, offering guidance on avionics, defense, and strategic wargaming through crowdsourced insights and expert analysis.
Brig Rajeev Ohri, VSM (Retd)
Brigadier Rajeev Ohri, a distinguished Indian Army Corps of Signals officer, holds MSc Physics Electronics (Delhi University), MSc Defence Studies, MTech in Modelling & Simulation, and MPhil in Defence & Strategy. He played key roles in Kargil, Manipur, and J&K operations, serving in Signal Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism. A UN peacekeeper in Rwanda, he authored the UN Military Manual for Signals. As Chief Instructor at MCTE Mhow, he contributed to Wargaming, Information Systems, and EW. Awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal, he now scouts technology, supports IA capability building, and serves as CEO of Agraniaviations and SME at CENJOWS.


Brig Adarsh Bhardwaj (Retd)
Brig Adarsh Bhardwaj, an Army veteran with 34 years of diverse experience, has expertise in defence operations, technology, MRO, logistics, and administration. He served as Chief Engineer for Opto-electronics and Armament Systems and commanded the Army’s Heavy Industrial Establishment for artillery and air defence MRO. He also led the Army Tech Cell, now the Army Design Bureau. With roles in the Defence Intelligence Agency and Integrated Defence Staff, he specializes in armaments, opto-electronics, and defence space tech. A key advisor to India’s private space sector, he advances strategic defence applications and aerospace-grade materials while contributing to think tanks.
