Established in 2015, Crucial Aero was an eastern regional subsidiary of Crucial MRO, which continues its independent operations, and remains based in Southern Illinois. Crucial Aero, a full-service MRO and the associated Federal Aviation Association (FAA) Part 145 Repair Station Certificate, has been transferred to Sherpa Air’s Georgetown Base of Operations. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Sherpa Air’s continued growth into aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services market. This certification, granted by the FAA, authorizes Sherpa Air to perform specialized aircraft maintenance under the highest safety and compliance standards.
Sherpa Air is now fully equipped to provide comprehensive maintenance solutions in our recently constructed 30,000 square foot hangar, including: ✔ Airframe and Powerplant inspections and repairs ✔ Avionics upgrades and installations ✔ Component overhauls and modifications ✔ Preventative maintenance and regulatory compliance checks
