In a recent article, StandardAero announced a major expansion in its LEAP engine #MRO services with the addition of a new LEAP-1A test cell at its #engine #overhaul center in San Antonio, Texas. This test cell, dedicated to performance and functional engine #testing, will cater to the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, further strengthening StandardAero’s market position in LEAP engine #maintenance, #repair, and ₹overhaul (MRO).
This addition follows the facility’s recent commencement of LEAP-1B engine testing for the Boeing 737 MAX, making San Antonio one of the few locations capable of handling performance restoration shop visits (PRSVs) for both the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. With these expanded capabilities, StandardAero continues to establish itself as a trusted MRO provider in the LEAP engine segment, meeting growing demand from operators of the popular #Airbus and #Boeing models.
